Dr. Rachel Magnell founded the Kairos Center for Change in 2013. She is a Spiritual Director, Kairos coach, and teacher who companions women drawn by an inner call—a longing to more fully experience their spiritual lives and awaken to the depth of their higher Self.

Dr. Magnell holds a Ph.D. and has studied Counseling Psychology, the neuroscience of trauma, neurofeedback, archetypal patterning, and the science of language (NLP). Her formation includes Yoga Science and Meditation, Buddhist and Christian contemplative practices, Jungian-Christian dialogue with Marist Brother Don Bisson, Advaita Vedanta (Non-Duality) with Acharya Andre, and ongoing Torah study with Rabbi Joshua Sussman.
She received her training in Spiritual Direction at the Linwood Spiritual Center and is a proponent of a mystic, interspiritual heart of understanding—one that recognizes the universal spiritual heritage expressed through religion, myth, dreams, and folklore. Dr. Magnell is a member of Spiritual Directors International and continues in active spiritual formation with Linwood peers, the Buckingham Torah Circle, the federated church of Presbyterian United Church of Christ, and St. Clements Church in Saratoga.
