The Global Week to #Act4SDGs is a global mobilization taking place during the high-level week of the UN General Assembly in September, to show world leaders that people all around the world are committed, dedicated, and inspired to take action on the SDGs.

This year’s mobilization focuses on the key themes of Climate, Peace, Gender Equality, Inclusion, and Sustainable Food Systems as the global community comes together to mark the mid-way point of the SDG Agenda.

10:00 am – 11:00 am Deep Horse Meditation Practice For Peace – An Introduction

ACTT Naturally offers an original equine assisted learning program for first responders, veterans, executive coaches, hospital providers, and more! The curriculum provides a series of experiential processes that employs the non-verbal communication between horse and human, a deep and transformative meditational engagement for all peace seeking people. 5:00-6:00 pm Saratoga Peace Walk

Walking in solidarity for World Peace. We need new solutions, new approaches, and a renewed effort to unite to #Act4SDGs across borders. To show that our choices and individual actions matter. And to communicate collectively that we are a massive force that can bring about transformative change and reach for a better future. We do this first, by coming together in intention.

Peace Stories with Kate Dudding   

Storyteller Kate Dudding will share stories about the kindness of strangers, ways she’s found personal peace, and a story about one path to world peace.

Since 1995, award-winning storyteller Kate Dudding creates entertaining, heartwarming and memorable stories about real people who made a difference. She tells at venues in the Northeastern USA, including The Clearwater Festival, First Night Saratoga, and The Norman Rockwell Museum. Many of her five CDs received national awards. She won the story slam at the 2010 National Storytelling Conference.  She has presented workshops at the National Storytelling Conference and other storytelling conferences. Kate and her producing partner Alden (Joe) Doolittle have produced over 150 storytelling performances. They received the 2015 Brother Blue and Ruth Hill Award “in recognition of extraordinary commitment, dedication and loving encouragement to the storytelling community” from Northeast Storytelling. www.KateDudding.com
